1. How to change the control mode of the excavator?

If you are accustomed to controls in one orientation, working on a machine configured for another orientation can be dangerous. Changing control modes is easy: you first need to find the position of the mode control lever. Open the box that protects it, remove the bolts, adjust the lever to where you want it, and put everything back together. The best way to find out where a control's mode level is is to check the user's manual.

 

2. What size excavator do I need for my job?

It can be difficult to decide on the size of an excavator given the wide range of sizes these machines come in. There are several key factors you need to consider.

Budget – How big of an excavator are you willing to buy? More powerful models and bigger size are much more expensive than smaller models

Job Site – What kind of terrain are you working on? Are you indoors or outdoors? Do you need to worry about bad weather or sharp turns? Choose an excavator size that’s right for your job site.
